ALTOSPAM, OKTEY’s e-mail protection solution, now integrates ESET NOD32 antivirus.

OKTEY, publisher of products and services specifically for e-mail, spam and viruses, has entered into a technological partnership with ESET, publisher of the NOD32 antivirus, to complete its flagship offering, ALTOSPAM.

ALTOSPAM, the outsourced e-mail protection software for businesses, now integrates ESET NOD32 as the antivirus component of its solution.

ESET NOD32 for mail servers offers unrivalled proactive protection in terms of both speed and efficiency, and performs multi-threat scanning in the background to boost server performance. NOD32’s proactive protection uses a combination of scanning methods, including award-winning heuristics, to identify known and unknown malware in real time.

This ensures that ALTOSPAM users are effectively protected by NOD32. E-mails are systematically analyzed by the combination of 14 technologies making up ALTOSPAM’s antispam, then supplemented by ESET NOD32 and two other antivirus products. This makes ALTOSPAM the only solution to offer a guaranteed service level agreement (SLA) for both server availability and e-mail filtering quality.
