Campus Cyber Nouvelle-Aquitaine chooses Altospam solutions

Altospam, a pioneer and long-standing player in cybersecurity in France, specializing in the fight against spam, phishing and ransomware for 20 years, has seen the excellence of its solution recognized by being selected to protect the email environments of the Campus Cyber Nouvelle-Aquitaine teams.

The Campus Régional de Cybersécurité et de Confiance Numérique Nouvelle-Aquitaine is co-founded by the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, GIP Cybermalveillance, ADI Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Clusir. This association embodies one of the central actions of the regional cybersecurity 2020 roadmap launched by Alain Rousset, President of the Conseil Régional de Nouvelle-Aquitaine in July 2020, in which federation rhymes with resilience and innovation. Supported as part of France Relance, the Campus works closely with associate members such as ANSSI, the Campus Cyber National and the regional prefecture.

High exposure to cyber attacks

Because of its activities, the Cyber Campus Nouvelle-Aquitaine is highly exposed to cyberattacks of all kinds. In this context, the protection of the messaging systems used by our teams is a key issue. Consequently, the Campus management, represented by Guy Flament, decided to equip itself with a new-generation sovereign solution to guard against spam and attempted attacks such as phishing and ransomware. What’s more, the selected solution had to enable authorized whitelists to be managed simply and directly, and to be upgraded on demand, so that campus teams could carry out part of their monitoring activities.

The choice of a sovereign solution and a team of experts

Altospam’s solution was selected by Campus Cyber Nouvelle-Aquitaine after a study of the market. Altospam made the difference on a number of complementary points: the performance of its solution, its value for money and the expertise of its teams, who will be working closely with Campus Cyber and its circle of regional partners. As part of the new cloud-based collaborative suite used by Cyber Campus staff, the Altospam service is a key link in the Cyber Campus system.
