Please note that a new option has just been added to the summary e-mail. As a reminder, this summary e-mail can be configured on the Altospam management interface to be sent to all or some users, automatically providing them with a list of e-mails rejected the previous day (one option among others) and enabling them to release any messages that may have been blocked, simply by clicking on a small green arrow.
Summary mail
Previously, users could systematically “whitelist” an email address after releasing a blocked email. It is now possible to prohibit some or all recipients from whitelisting an address. This feature was added in response to requests from customers who were seeing certain users unintentionally releasing and “whitelisting” emails of all types (including spam).
We remind you that it is strongly recommended to configure the summary mail if you activate Altospam’s advertising filtering, so as to obtain full visibility of stopped emails and be able to release them easily and quickly if necessary.
Encrypted mail on MailOut
In addition, Altospam’s MailOut option, which ensures outgoing email filtering, has been enhanced, again with a view to increasing message deliverability, with automatic encryption of emails for which the remote system accepts encryption. For example, all emails sent to Gmail will be systematically encrypted.
As a reminder, MailOut’s SPF and DKIM authentication systems can already be easily configured to automatically sign all outgoing emails, thereby increasing message deliverability and sending security.
We’d like to take this opportunity to wish you and your teams all the best for 2013!
We remain at your service to answer any questions or comments you may have.
